Hotel Farmona is expanding. Before the outbreak of the pandemic, the demand for this type of service increased, so trends should be followed. The park gazebo for special events was to be a pavilion open to the surrounding park with old trees. So, we thought about a platform with two levels and some architectural twist. The sliding glass panel system ensures continuous interior-exterior communication, which allows the relative boundaries of the object to blur. An interesting procedure here is the levitation effect obtained by placing a gazebo on an existing hill. Thanks to this, the object “floats” among greenery and corresponds better with the surroundings. The steel structure has been designed to minimize the number of columns. The color combination is very simple – graphite contrasts with the warm shade of wood.
