We present an intimate housing estate of single-family houses on the outskirts of the city of Krakow, in Skotniki district. The Investor’s plots are located on the border of the Natura 2000 area where a local spatial development plan was created during the construction project. So we had to hurry to get a building permit document as soon as possible. In addition to the complicated formal and law situation where the division of plots was not entirely clear, we found an advanced landslide. The construction company has designed a retaining wall system that was to enable the construction of a housing estate in the near future. Difficulties paid off and the office issued a permit a month before the change of the local plan. The architecture of the houses is very simple and aesthetic. 4 twins, two single-family houses smaller and one larger at the very top of the hill near the forest obtained extended garages in the form of added cuboids to the main building blocks. This treatment created functional and panoramic terraces exposed to the picturesque surroundings.
